10 Minutes Apple Halwa

Apple Halwa is a very sweet dessert which lets its taste tickle your taste buds when served warm. Apples by itself are sweet but when it is cooked it tastes a bit tangy so sugar and cinnamon is added which balances it and takes it to a next level of tastiness.

Things Needed:
  • Apple - 1 no
  • Ghee- 2 tsp
  • Sugar- 4tbsp (heaped or according to taste)
  • Cashew and Raisins - 4 to 5 each (option)
  • Cinnamon powder - a pinch
  • Cardamon powder - a pinch
Method:

1. Roughly chop apples and make a puree .

2. Heat ghee in a non stick pan. fry cashews and raisins and keep aside.

3. In the same pan with the remaining ghee heat the puree and cook it till it loses its moisture and becomes fairly thick.

4. Now add the sugar and cook till you get a very sticky,  paste like consistency. The halwa will start to gather into one single mass.

5. Finally add ghee to the halwa, stir for a minute and transfer to a serving bowl.

6. Add the fried nuts and raisins, cardamon powder and cinnamon powder and give it a mix in the bowl.

7. Level the top and serve warm. Tastes much better when served hot with ice cream.

                                   ENJOY (^_^)
