Mushroom N Egg Roll

A very easy and quick recipe which could be a great breakfast or lunch. It requires a very few ingredients and the simple spice mixes make the roll very tasty. Do read and try to enjoy this simple roll. Ingredients : All the ingredient measures are for 3 people.  Mushroom - As required ( I used about a 1 cup of chopped oyster mushroom to make for 3 people)  Eggs- 3  Onion - 1 large (Chopped) Oil as required Salt and pepper Wheat flour [or] All purpose flour(Maida) Method : 1. Let us start by preparing all our ingredients, I started by making the dough for roll, its a basic chapatti dough , i used Wheat flour, salt and water to make the dough. Chop the mushrooms and onions and keep aside, also in a bowl break eggs, add salt n lightly beat it. 2.Take a frying pan and add few tablespoons of oil, add onions and saute till its soft and add the chopped mushroom, salt and pepper and cook until its well done. 3. Paneer Bread Pizza

A quick variant to satisfy your pizza carving. This is a very simple recipe and budget friendly. It costed me around 125 Rs. to make this small batch. Serves 3. Ingredients: Bread (Whole Wheat or White Bread) - 6  Tomatoes - 2 large (chopped) Salt and pepper to taste Pasta Seasoning - few sprinkles Onion - 1/2 chopped Paneer (Cottage Cheese) - As required (Cut into small cubes) Mozzarella Cheese - As Required (Grated or sliced)   Method: 1. Butter the bottom of a large baking tray and line the bread slices as in the picture. 2. Prepare a quick tomato base and spread it on the bread slices This is how i made my tomato base: Pureed the tomatoes and sauteed it in a pan with 2 tablespoon oil, added salt, pepper and a pinch of pasta seasoning. Neiappam is a very famous dish of the south. It has a crisp texture on the edges with soft spongy center. Neiappam is a great tea time snack. I enjoyed the process of making these tiny balls. It had a heavenly taste, i took every bite slowly and let the taste linger on my taste buds for a while. Mmmmm... Its a must try recipe for all those healthy sweet lovers out there.   Things Needed: Rice Flour - 2 cups Palm Jaggery (கருப்பட்டி) / Jaggery Syrup - Around 1 to 1/2 cups (I used one full palm jaggery) Dry Ginger Powder/ சுக்கு - 1 tsp Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp Ghee - 1/4th cup Sesame Seeds - 2 tbsp Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp Coconut slices - 2 tbsp Salt - a pinch Small Bananas - 2 ripe ones Coconut Oil / Gingelly oil for frying Method: 1. Hello Reader (^_^), Good day to you! Being a native of Nagercoil i was wondering why i hadn't posted any recipes related to my birthplace. So here i am with a very traditional and authentic Recipe which comes from my deep roots. I have used sankara meen to make the curry. It is also called as Red Snapper. This curry is best made with small fishes. i am not sure if it will taste the same with large fishes. Warning: Do not add or reduce any ingredient if u want to get the right taste. Things Needed: For Curry: Fish - 4 to 5 (Washed, cleaned and cut into small pieces, I have used sankara meen(red snapper), you can replace it with chalai / mathi (sardine) / nethili (anchovy) or any small fish of your choice). I love these ladoos especially for its taste. My mom helped me prepare it and she gave me tons of information about why i should eat this ladoo. This is a Simple, awesome, soft, sweet and fluffy whole wheat flour pancake topped with fig, raisins and black pepper, black pepper gives a super kick to the whole dish. Do give it a try, its really easy and tasty. Fig replaced by bananas will taste equally good.
