Wheat N Fig Pancake

This is a Simple, awesome, soft, sweet and fluffy whole wheat flour pancake topped with fig, raisins and black pepper, black pepper gives a super kick to the whole dish. Do give it a try, its really easy and tasty. Fig replaced by bananas will taste equally good. Warning: This is a very addictive pancake Things Needed: Whole wheat flour - 1 cup Egg - 1 (white and yolk separated) Sugar - 5 to 6 tbsp ( Yes!! 5 to 6 tbsp, sugar gives a beautiful caramelization on the pancakes + i love sweet pancakes not the blunt one's. Feel free to adjust it to your taste) Milk - 1 cup Ripe Figs - 3 to 4 nos (peeled and sliced thinly) Raisins - 1/4 cup (optional) Black Pepper powder - 2 tbsp Butter - 2 tbsp Method: 1. 10 Minutes Apple Halwa

Apple Halwa is a very sweet dessert which lets its taste tickle your taste buds when served warm. Apples by itself are sweet but when it is cooked it tastes a bit tangy so sugar and cinnamon is added which balances it and takes it to a next level of tastiness.  Things Needed: Apple - 1 no Ghee- 2 tsp Sugar- 4tbsp (heaped or according to taste) Cashew and Raisins - 4 to 5 each (option) Cinnamon powder - a pinch Cardamon powder - a pinch Method: 1. Roughly chop apples and make a puree . 2. Heat ghee in a non stick pan. fry cashews and raisins and keep aside. 3. In the same pan with the remaining ghee heat the puree and cook it till it loses its moisture and becomes fairly thick. 4. Now add the sugar and cook till you get a very sticky,  paste like consistency. The halwa will start to gather into one single mass.  5. Golden Wheat Carrot Ring

This golden Wheat Cake makes up to be the best, healthy and tasty breakfast cake. Things Needed: Grated Carrot - 100 grams or 1 cup Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp Wheat Flour - 63 grams or 3/4cup All Purpose Flour - 50 grams or 1/2 cup Salt - a pinch Baking Soda - 1 tsp Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp Egg - 1 whole/ 50 grams Melted Butter - 70 grams Sugar (or) honey- 125 grams or 1+1/4cup Raisins - 25 grams or 1/4 cup Method: 1. Take a clean bowl and mix all the dry ingredients together except sugar, sift them all once after mixing . Dry Ingredients: Wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, soda, cinnamon 2. Take another clean bowl and whisk in all the wet ingredients together until well combined.  Wet ingredients: grated carrot, lemon juice, egg, melted butter, sugar (or) honey and raisins. 3. 19th August 2015: I got my first kitchen weighing machine :D, yeah finally i got mine now so i can gladly go for the gram measures instead of cup measures. I wanted to bake a special cake for my fiance' for a long time and here it is. He loves coffee and i am going to make the same old coffee cake which is my all time favorite with a classic coffee and chocolate buttercream frosting. This is a lip smacking dish. It could be had as a tea time snack with a dip or it could be used as a Pattie for burgers or you can even make a yummy wrap by adding fruits like pomegranate, apple or pineapple or you can also make a good sandwich with it. No matter how you eat it, it tastes good and gives you a want to eat more. This is one of my fiance's all time favorites, but he likes the beef version more. You can substitute chicken with beef, mutton or pork or even a mixture of veggies. So versatile, easy and a must try food at every home. A Hot Soup that goes well with rice. It really helps when you want to get rid of common cold. Best served with rice or you can filter it and drink it as such.  Things Needed: Whole Garam masala's -  2 each (cinnamon, clove, cardamon, black pepper, curry leaves, dried red chillies, cumin seeds and fennel ) Small Onion - 5 to 6 (sliced) Tomato - 1 (chopped) Green chillies - 2 large (sliced, scale up to taste) Oil- 2 tbsp Crab - 2 large (wash well, clean, apply turmeric and keep aside) Fennel - 1 tbsp Whole black pepper - 1 tbsp Cumin Seed - 1 tsbp Garlic cloves - 7 to 8  Ginger - a small slice Curry leaves - 2 sprigs Poppy seed - 1tbsp Cashews - 2 or 3 Thin Coconut milk - 1 cup Ghee - 1 tsp Coriander stem - 1tbsp (chopped) Method : 1. A delicious dense Cake for all occasions   Things Needed:   For Cake: Grated Carrot - 2 cups Hot Milk - 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar - 1+1/4 cup Vegetable Oil - 1/2 cup Vanilla Essence - 1 tbsp Eggs - 3 Flour - 2 cups Baking soda - 1 tsp Baking powder - 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp Clove Powder - 1 tsp Salt - 1/2 tsp For Icing Fresh Cream - 1 cup Icing Sugar - 1/4 cup Orange Zest - 1 tbsp Method: 1. Instead of vegetable oil, i used 1/4 cup of oil and 1/4 cup of melted butter for a soft texture.   2. Keep all your ingredients ready before baking. 3. Take a mixing bowl, add in the grated carrot, hot milk, sugar, vanilla essence and lightly beaten eggs. Mix well.   4.
